The journey from Singapore to Bintan is around 1 hour.
Reached Bintan in the late afternoon. We had some light snacks before heading to the beach.
Open-concept kitchen.
Nachos with cheddar cheese and chicken kebah.
I like the colours of Nature.
The resort we were staying has its own swimming pool with jacuzzi.
Yes! The beach! Blue sky, white sands, clear sea. :D
Hee... we went to Kayak too.
Clear sea... (no horse run hor)
Can even see my own feet..
Interestingly, we saw fishes, jellyfish, crab and hermit crabs while 'exploring' around the beach.
Only managed to take a photo of the hermit crab because the others were too difficult to take.
Next, we went to the Mangrove Discovery Tour.
Mangrove Trees.
Fisherman's hut.
We went deeper into the narrow river and saw poisonous snakes hanging around on the trees. As told by the tour guide, the snakes are sleeping in the day and only hunt for food in the night. So, not to worry. There are also other wild animals living around the swamp. For example, otters (rare sight), monkeys, kingfishers, mud skipper, etc.
With that, we end our trip with a nice dinner at The Kelong Restaurant. :)
